Instructional Support Levy |
|||||
The Instructional Support Levy (ISL) program provides additional funding for school districts. Ballard's ISL program is funded by property tax and state aide money. The moneys must be deposited in the general fund and may be used for any purpose under that fund. The funding for Ballard's program is set at 8 percent of the regular program district cost. The program was approved by the Board of Education in March, 2000 and was in place for five years. It was renewed by the Board for an additional 5 years in March, 2005. |
