This year, we’re thrilled to announce that over 40 incredible Junior and Senior students have joined the Transition Team to support our 9th graders as they navigate their new journey at Ballard High School.

During advisor time, these dedicated mentors have been connecting with incoming students through fun activities like games, Music Bingo, and a lively Staff Scavenger Hunt. Not only did everyone have a blast, but these events also fostered friendships that will last throughout their years at Ballard and beyond.

A special thank you to the Ballard Education Foundation for their generous support of the Transition Team, and to our High School Guidance Counselors, Lisa Doland and Lexie Wood, for their hard work in making these events possible.
